Most of my collection of coffee making apparatus gathered together on a kitchen bench. There’s six caffetiera of varying sizes, a Japanese coffee syphon in its box, a Colombian pour-over bag on a metal stand, a Turkish coffee pot and an aeropress.

I haven’t seen many that are as big as the ones I used to see when I lived up north but we still get some decently sized huntsmen down here.

Currently buried under a mountain of steelwork for an F1 exhibit.
But this is what I’m really proud of, a working, miniature ferris wheel, steel by me, carpentry, paint & electrics by my colleagues.
A two meter(ish) tall ferris wheel standing on a low trolley with a darkened workshop in the background. It’s painted in a rust effect with multi coloured carriages, a band of LEDs around the circumference of the wheel and a lightbox in the shape of a cartoonish sun peeking out from behind a cloud in the centre of the wheel.
