Global capitalism, no? Big countries are the aristocracy and the small working class. If the former want to take something from the latter the rest will sit back and watch it happen as long as it doesn’t affect them. If it continues, at some point, one of the small guys will fight back.

My gut feel was the system / 2 in the middle caused some of that. Would much rather see that extra body to provide an outlet / build through the middle. I think a Howe mf 3 could outwork liverpools but it would need to be perfect in every aspect as they’re so clinical.

That really was a terrible first half. Can’t help but look at the lineup and question a couple of choices but in particular Trippiers inclusion in a back 4 against city 🤷‍♂️
