I feel like there are specific cases where judgement should be given, such as when someone made a bad choice and kept making the bad choice for decades despite all evidence that the choice is just bad and is hurting themselves and others.

A big part of it is shame. They're told to be ashamed of getting handouts, but there's little industry in those red states. They hate having to survive on handouts. Their entire sense of pride is about being self-sufficient even though capitalism made that impossible for them, and the rest of us.

It feels like the entire state of Kentucky is white people on welfare who will do anything to defeat the welfare state because they hear that minorities benefit from these programs somewhat. They are all dying of preventable illness, love their ACA and want to abolish Obamacare for being socialism.

Republicans think Democrats and Leftists are closer to demons and space aliens than fellow countrymen. No matter what the GOP does, they will have more in common with them than the people they honestly believe kill babies for fun.

I don't think Republicans didn't believe the case against Trump. They didn't care. He could rape a child in a church, live on camera, and they'd vote for him.

When my mother said that immigrants got free healthcare I told her that she could renounce her citizenship. Honestly if I got everything right wingers claim illegals got from it then it would a pretty damned good deal, and I'd also get multiple votes too.
