You can instead put your ballot in the ballot Dropbox in front of the county building if you don't have or want to show ID at the Board of Elections office.

You can instead put your ballot in the ballot Dropbox in front of the county building if you don't have or want to show ID at the Board of Elections office.
They direct you to the board of elections office on the same floor where you have to SHOW ID (different than at a polling place) and sign a book and turn in your ballot. We pressed @ showing ID but they said it's a rule if you deliver a ballot at the Board of Elections.

Here's what happens when you vote at the county building. You go to the fourth floor and fill out a piece of paper stating you want a paper ballot. You turn in the paper and wait for your name to be called. they give you a ballot and you fill it out& put it in envelope. then...

I was subbing for a high school class that was reading this (almost 100% Black student body). I brought up having read a theory that gatsby was Black passing for white, & the kids had some really interesting insights @ that.
