I want to work on a project with others.

I also want to do a million other things.

If there's an interesting issue, I might be interested in jumping in, but I wouldn't count on it.

Wow. But are you using homebrew's registry or are you hosting your own? You're still using their JSON API right?

I've found measuring work to be an arcane science. How do you do it? If you measure results then that's not fair because results are dependent upon things that are outside your control. If you measure effort, then how much of that involves me going down rabbit holes that may or may not be relevant?

out in the bloodshed the cycle begins
and everyone dies
spin the wheel, if you don't get killed
you wind up dead inside

out in the bloodshed everyone loses
there's unforgettable scars
out in the bloodshed permanent bruises
shapes up who you are
children left to wander america aimless
with a firebrand of resent
wondering who it is took my daddy
with a destiny of revenge

well you can't hate the gun and love the gun that shot yer rival
you can't be kind and wish pain upon a child
everybody's gotta say
what they're needing to say
as soon as they're needing to say it
the freedom to speak
to be a freak
and the freedom to say you hate it
and have a big ole conversation

If I recall correctly the implementation isn't open source, but the .canvas file format is an open standard. Meaning any app can read or write .canvas files. And some others already do.

Are you working in Xcode?

Xcode freaks out when anyone other than Xcode edits a file.
