Happy to share our latest paper lead by my amazing Honours students (now PhD student) Kamryn Carter. We used modern genomics to look at the diversity of an old endemic gecko from the Chilean Atacama desert, and found very deep hidden diversity.

I found these what I believe to be lacewing larvae hatching from their eggs in my backyard. They were not more than 2 mm long. I think this is the sort of creature that would have inspired HR Giger.
