Actually, I checked and it may work. But it still would not make sense since there are much cheaper normal MicroSD cards.

I thought the shift was a brilliant idea. The only problem is most cases expect the cables to come out the back so it can be awkward routing the cables from the side.
Also, a lot of cases just don't support this layout at all so I ended up having to replace my PSU when I switched cases.
