Here's the normal version - the VHS effects

Something I've been working on for the last few days. I picked up the newest comic releases for Unico several months back and really wanted to animate a character interaction. This is loosely based on the early events in book 2: Hunted. Characters (c) Tezuka Productions.

This was a really old character test that I used to teach myself squash and stretch as well as follow through and secondary movement. I think I was in highschool when I first did the draft.

Tired of being too precious with my rough throw-away sketches so I'm putting them out to the world.

figured I'd show the roughs that I worked from.

Finally after several years of on and off work, I came to a stopping point for this test animation. If you recognize what I based these critters off of you get a cookie!
