And with it drive more active tactical voting *against* it. I genuinely believe Reform could be ahead in the popular vote by a larger amount and fail, because when push comes to shove, the majority find them unpalatable to the point where they'd almost vote for anyone to stop them...

I'm broadly quite radical. And am a little bit frustrated that LDs are playing it too safe on almost all issues. I'm not that impressed with anyone...

Shadow Home Sec. I think that's half the problem with the party now, few are given the chance to go out and represent us. But, I wouldn't say Davey was ever especially high profile.

I really don't think Josh would be Ed's pick for leader. He's too dynamic, too willing to put himself out there and say something. Ed's current protege is, I think, Lisa Smart.

You're right on what's important. I imagine he thought he was picking up a prolific striker. That it hasn't worked out that way is nicely mitigated by an large amount of set piece goals

Having said that, I think many many people expected that to be the return with Gyok. Given that Premier League teams weren't chomping to pick him up from Coventry...

I really don't think that's plausible. Not to say that an Emile Heskey style of forward isn't valuable, but I don't believe for a second that Arteta expected to pick someone up for that price that scores non penalty goals every couple of months...

I get you. But in terms of diplomacy, it's second tier (SCS2 rather than SCS3 job grade). But SCS2 comfortably puts him in the top couple of % of staff within the entire diplomatic service. It doesn't mean he was especially high performing or impressive...
