TPLO all healed, now tackling the mystery neck pain! After X-rays, CT scans, & treatments failed, Finn braved a 4-hr ride for an MRI (huge shoutout to Animal Emergency & Referral Center of MN!). It went well, finally a plan that should help! ❤️ #Dogs #DogsOfBlueSky

Ricky's adorable!!! This was Finn yesterday. He has 6 weeks scheduled with his TPLO recovery package, but I think we're going to go 2x a week beyond that into Spring, just to help build his muscles up.

The #TPLO surgery went great! Today we see the vet for his 2 week check, and if the stitches are healed enough we can ditch the cone. Everyone is loving the air mattress in the living room as you can tell 😂

The #TPLO surgery went great! Today we see the vet for his 2 week check, and if the stitches are healed enough we can ditch the cone. Everyone is loving the air mattress in the living room as you can tell 😂

This guy's going in for #TPLO surgery tomorrow on his right leg. He had the left one done almost exactly a year ago. Positive thoughts and prayers are welcome. Just a nervous dog mama over here. 🤗 (He’s using dad as a hiding spot from the vet in this pic 😅)

I took this the other day, not sure if I shared it on my feed? Eevee loves to sit on the arm of the sofa and survey the neighborhood. She takes her job as "watch dog" seriously! Maybe it's a #Chihuahua thing? Our other two are serial loafers, unless a dog walks by or a delivery person pulls up 😆

I took a cell phone photography class last week, so I'm practicing taking pics. I loved how gnarly this branch was & my intent was to capture that, but later realized the pine cones in the fir tree looked pretty cool! I don't have a naturally artistic eye many do, but it's fun to take pics anyway!

Same! When Finn tore his ACL last Dec. and needed TPLO surgery, we got a queen size air mattress and we all slept in the living room for a few months since he wasn't allowed to jump on the bed. (vet OK'd it). We called it our version of Hygge 😅

Rocket is chilling out. First snow of the season and brand new heated beds! We've been using these same cat beds since 2010, but occasionally order new versions as they wear down.
