(Nothing wrong with the idea per se. Just jump scares are really not my thing. Plus, 'Hey, let's turn this childhood thing into a horror series!' is good for about half a chuckle for me, but the longer it drags on, the more I end up going, 'Yes, I get the point, you can stop beating the drum now.'

(Nothing wrong with the idea per se. Just jump scares are really not my thing. Plus, 'Hey, let's turn this childhood thing into a horror series!' is good for about half a chuckle for me, but the longer it drags on, the more I end up going, 'Yes, I get the point, you can stop beating the drum now.'
I got very, very tired of it shortly after it came out and just went on an aggressive blocking campaign that things kept oozing around the edges of. So I don't know how much of a thing it is except to notice it that occasionally keeps oozing around my filters because people won't tag.

Yeah, I guess I'm just hoping that one of the GOP budget hawks actually grows a spine and takes him to task over this. They were certainly yelling loudly enough about the deficit when they unleashed DOGE on federal workers to cause a massive unemployment spike.

I mean, I thought the tariffs were supposed to cover for the huge budget shortfalls caused by making the TCJA tax cuts permanent. If we're just giving them back as stimulus checks instead, isn't that just increasing the deficit again?
