My girlfriend got one first, and told me about it. Funny story - she (74 y.o.) hired guys to clear some fallen trees, and went with her chainsaw to help them. They kind of ignored her, until they saw her chopping stuff up left and right.
And then one guy came up and asked to borrow it.

My favorite I bought this past year is the little battery powered chain saw. I was amazed how much I could cut down with one, and I don't wreck my shoulders doing it!
