I don’t get it. I personally don’t like r3yl0, but it occupies 0% of my mind and would never go looking to go into those fan spaces and disrupt the fandom lmao.
And even then, at least it’s canon, so there’s critique of the actual text (not defending it) but romantic ZK is literally just FAN works

ZK is such an innocuous thing too. It doesn't become canon (though it WAS considered and fought for by multiple head writers). There is no NEED for all this except people LOOOVE to berate things that bring women harmless joy

I hate bringing negativity to feeds bc Ik we're all so tired of it, but having been in this fandom 12 years, it's genuinely just depressing seeing how saturated the hate is (largely bc of Bryke's sexist encouragement & lies to the fandom too)
Anything w a primarily female audience is mocked
