India's Shubman Gill (AP Photo/Ashwini Bhatia) Former India wicketkeeper-batter Deep Dasgupta believes Shubman Gill needs to redefine his role in India’s T20I side by becoming the anchor around whom the rest of the batting revolves, much like Virat Kohli did for years in the format. Gill, India’s current T20I vice-captain, returned to the shortest format during the Asia Cup and was named Suryakumar Yadav’s deputy. However, his output has not matched expectations. The Indian Test and ODI captain has scored only 291 runs from 15 T20I innings so far, a modest return for a batter of his calibre.

Babri Masjid row: VHP terms mosque plan unlawful under BNS; urges Bengal govt to file FIR against Humayun Kabir | India News – The Times of India
Humayun Kabir (ANI image) NEW DELHI: The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Monday said that the proposed construction of a mosque modelled on Ayodhya’s Babri Masjid in West Bengal’s Murshidabad district amounts to an offence under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).The organisation has urged the state government to order the registration of an FIR against suspended Trinamool Congress MLA Humayun Kabir, news agency PTI reported. In a letter addressed to chief minister Mamata Banerjee, VHP president Alok Kumar alleged that the proposed naming of the mosque after Mughal ruler Babur was a “deliberate symbolic act” that was foreseeably offensive to Hindus and had the potential to promote religious enmity.Kumar claimed that Babur is historically associated with the destruction of Hindu religious sites and that naming a mosque after him, when viewed alongside the statements made by Kabir, indicated that the move was neither accidental nor incidental.

Preparing for bank exams? Here’s what can help you crack them in the first attempt – The Times of India
Cracking a bank examination in the first attempt is often spoken about as an exception rather than a pattern. Yet, every year, thousands of candidates clear exams conducted by public sector banks without multiple attempts or extended preparation cycles. What separates these candidates is not prior expertise or privileged access to coaching. It is clarity of approach.Bank examinations follow a predictable structure. The syllabus is defined, the pattern is stable, and the skills tested remain largely consistent across years. Candidates who clear these exams early tend to treat preparation as a structured process rather than an open-ended struggle.
