I've been avoiding trailers to go in blind, but the impression I get is that the opening is kinda like a mix of Prime 3's and 1's, and after that it's more like Prime 2 where it's pretty isolated but there's one alien NPC who gives some exposition.

I kinda wish they showed off more though. Is it really just gonna be more returning Pokemon and a copy and paste of Lumiose but black and white? I was expecting to at least see some new megas shown off or... anything else lol.

Kinda related, but I wish modern handhelds felt more personalized too. I love that the 3DS not only came in different colors, but you linked it with a Mii, and had all these social features and customization. It felt very expressive! The Switch or other hybrids aren't quite the same.

This is tangentially related, but have you played Metroid Prime 2? The whole game revolves around moths, and I kid you not, the main objective of the game is to help find their giant lamps. The moths also have really cool designs, some even glow!
