RIP to Ronnie Hayward. This is at CIUT back in 2010 when he was living in Toronto. He didn't drive so he used to get to gigs taking his doghouse bass on the bus and he even travelled that way all the way from BC as well as hitchhiking like a true Beatnik. 🎻

Throwback Thursdays - Oct 1968; The "British Debut of the Yardbirds" was actually the New Yardbirds soon to be renamed Led Zeppelin. Playing the night before was Kippington Lodge w/Nick Lowe while the next week had Love Sculpture with Dave Edmunds. Lowe and Edmunds would later form Rockpile.
