Godot is such a funny engine. It's simple and easy to use until you want to do anything mildly complicated. Also the audio system is, like, weirdly undocumented, at least from my experience.

Never played it but I listened to the music a lot XD

I went from not super excited to pretty hyped after seeing gameplay. Simon wasn't lying when he said much of the content was made for the legacy engine while the new engine was being built. Hard to believe after 7 years the game will actually have players.

uBlock Origin has the ability to block these - seems like it could be by default, as I tried it just now.

Average, not median? Dunno how much it matters in this context. But knowing the salaries of some executives...maybe they were counted among "game developers".
