as a former fan of Radiohead, what matters more than cool music and art, is shared goals of collective liberation. If someone I respected the art of shows me that they either don't care about that liberation, or actively backs up the oppressors, it kind of destroys my ability to appreciate the work

I don't think it's fair necessarily to clown on people for unrelated stuff (like Thom's shoddy performance here) but like you said, taking it in stride and being like "it's fine" and moving forward is the attitude that matters

Online spaces like bsky move towards flattening the power structures and amplifying the voices of people who are struggling against a world of oppression. If someone is called out for problems, it is not hard to address the problems if you stand for liberation.

Yeah... if I show up to a shared space, and someone with power in that is platforming or speaking alongside voices that stand in the way of collective liberation, it is their responsibility to say something about it. Silence is complicity when it comes to trans and Palestinian liberation etc

They are hard licorice candies, with i think salmiak salt (ammonium chloride) on both the outside and inside, so it's a mix of black licorice hard candy and this weird salty ammonia throughout

these things make you smell ammonia when you exhale through your nose while eating them. basically it's like is piss was candy

On STREET UNI X I have a component on every text field that uses glyphs i call the "Glyph Refresher" that subscribes to the event of the controller changing. I have a centralized script that has references to the different glyphs, and sets "current glyphs" accordingly which the refresher accesses

Yeah, when the controller type changes, refresh the glyphs accordingly. Kenney has some good glyphs and theres a handful of great free and cheap ones on Itch as well.

I don't really celebrate even, in part because supporting myself soaks up all of my resources, but, holidays coming up and I don't have the means to get stuff for my partner, and I am not connected with my family in any tangible way in which we will be supporting or celebrating one another
