same hat in a lot of ways but "female in a fox way" in my case 🤝 i get u.. gender stuff has always been kind of weird for me for nonhuman reasons? i'm not necessarily fem-aligned by human standards, but i would consider myself fem-aligned by animal standards. it makes labels like that kind of tricky

real animals cannot consent and if i don't know for sure that *you* know that, i don't want you around me.

this is one of the primary reasons i have mixed feelings about calling myself a therian.... my identity often feels too divorced from theriform foxes for it to feel like a label that applies to me i guess? i'm a therian in the way that an avocado is a berry..

in all seriousness.. it's not to say i don't relate to theriform foxes, i absolutely do! but the anthropomorphic aspect of my identity is super important to me. my nonhuman identity was heavily shaped by the time i spent in certain pockets of the furry community when i was a kit.

i would argue that i'm far more dominant than submissive most of the time but being asked to be pegged by dozens of gross cis men will do things to your brain 😭

in other words, i don't trust 90% of cis people to be Normal about my gender.... i am very used to being *assumed* to be dominant by chaser-adjacent cis dudes and it feels gross even though i do love to be dominant. i have no idea if that makes sense but y_y just something i've been pondering.
