I'll be able to say something (slightly) more intelligent after finishing Scranton's book, but I think there are deep sympathetic resonances btwn Ensor & Hensley's, though they come from different scholarly sub-disciplines. Their shared commitment to staying with the trouble, the non-heroic, etc.

I was a fairly strict vegetarian for almost 20 years in no small part because of *Animal Liberation* so am really interested to see how Singer got from there to EA (which, if I’m being honest, I don’t know all that much about other than the takedown pieces on tech bros I’ve read)

One of my fave ever memories was of running out to picnic point either very late fall or very early spring, it was cold, and a sand hill crane flew directly over head.
