On average I’ll change him 3 times a day. Morning, evening, and just before bedtime. Two wet diapers and a full one.

We actually don’t really do much in terms of sustained Daddy/baby play, with exception of diaper changes and him calling me Daddy, so we haven’t had need to develop that kind of coded language.
If he doesn’t want my help getting dressed, he’ll say as much & I’m receptive to that

I take the kid’s hand, take the lead in approaching and say: “Hi, I need to change my brother” *gesture to the kid and backpack* “Do you have a facility we could use?”
That’s usually enough. People generally pick up on the rest and fill in the gaps themselves without needing to spell it out.

I’ll toot my own horn and say that I surprised myself by how much quickly I “acclimated”. I expect it’s naturally easier when you love the person whose butt your wiping!

It’s not something that happens every time we leave the house or anything, but yeah. When ya gotta go, you know. I’ll change him as quickly as it takes us to get to an appropriate facility to do so.
