Waffles has been with us a year now. After losing our Petunia after 17+ years I just didn't know how any dog could fill the hole in our hearts. Looking back I can't imagine going through this last year without her.

Waiting for my wife to get out of surgery, standing at a stationary point in this hallway and here is what I see.. the first is East so behind me, the second is South so on my left hand side and then the North on my right.. straight ahead is West and that's just a hallway so I didn't include it

I've been told tomorrow, the 11th day of my recovery, I will be allowed to go home. We had a few mini games after the surgery including a blood clot scare and a fight over an NG tube but tomorrow starts second stage recovery at home. 🙌

I guess I missed "dog day" honestly it seems like everyday is dog day so it makes sense it would go undetected. Here's my pup Waffles, she's a good hang.
