The premise is cute: two kids, the brain and the brawn, are given the magical power to transform into the superhuman Barom with the power of their friendship

The lack of a proper recurring cast, and the repeated conflicts between the leads hurt the show

Dropped after 3 episodes

Particularly boring, idk who thought that having 7 main characters was a good idea. Most shows of this era struggle with a single protagonist, 7 is absurd

Their suits are weird but kind of cool, mostly because they're different from Sentai

Very different from the show but I liked it. Except the last volume, it's not really good.

I don't think Ishinomori knows how to properly pace a story: after the start there's a lot of random adventures without plot relevance, and then a rushed ending

Akumaizer 3

Unfortunately only the first 10 of 38 episodes have been translated. The sequel series, Chojin Bibyun, also doesn't have subtitles

Inazuman

It was nice but nothing too special. I don't like how the Youth League was forgotten, but I like the premise

I liked Daisuke Ban as Inazuman a lot more than him as Kikaider

I would watch the sequel, Inazuman Flash, but it hasn't been transleted

DC: The New Frontier

The art is really good, I really like the choice to give everyone their old designs that they had at the time

If this wasn't super pro America, I'd like it more

The Superman fan in me was disappointed, but the Flash fan in me was happy

Avengers: Twilight

Cool, but the ending is rushed and ignores what was set up from the first issue

Better than the previous show, but it's still kind of boring

I don't like how they want to be a solo hero show while having the og Kikaider appear in almost every episode to help
