I have some basic technical knowledge of trains, but I don’t tend to pay attention to that side of things too much (but of course I’d do some research if I were to actually start seriously writing this comic)

I was thinking about just setting it in the modern day US, since I’m most familiar with trains from that time and place, and I also like making designs based off of real trains
