At a time when ice seems to be the villain, why isn't anyone but a panel of academic experts paying any attention of this fact about CBP?

If we don't oppose the cold blooded first degree murders that are beginning to be committed almost on the daily by malevolent jerks who soil the name of ICE by wearing ICE uniforms and engaging in homicidal maniacal will-to-murder malevolence, this scene will be you soon... youtu.be/2LaoamJ3vbs?...

This, from the man who systematically discriminates against black lessors at his residential real properties. From the guy who paid for a full page ad in 4 major New York dailies calling for death penalty for the Central Park 5, BEFORE TRIAL BEGAN (an unrelated man later confessed to the crime).

I've talked to Minneapolis DA Mary Moriarty several times, including a few months ago. Former public defender with no qualms about charging abusive cops. She has also been threatened by the Trump administration, is not seeking reelection, and doesn't back down.

Shit's about to get real.

In human history, no one person has blended moral and intellectual inconsistency more successfully with narcissistic personality disorder than our current sitting president. And deciding that nothing can be done to end his reign of terror is to commit a form of unnecessary suicide.
This is crazy town shit
WH sources say Venezuela's opposition leader committed the "ultimate sin": She accepted the Nobel Peace prize.

“If she had turned it down and said, ‘I can’t accept it because it’s Donald Trump’s,’ she’d be the president of Venezuela today,” one said.

The Unitary Executive folks are more than historical revisionists. They're consciously active in destroying history and shamelessly allowing (encouraging even) sloppy authoritarian propaganda to not just leak into BUT REPLACE careful, rigorous analysis of fact and law, even in courts of law!
The Take Care Clause was a byproduct of the lessons learned from the Glorious Revolution that the executive should not be able to dispense with the law promulgated by the legislature. It was not a constitutional provision to empower the executive branch— but to constrain it!

Interesting contrast btwn the countless Trump pardons handed out to many top conmen whose many billions of dollars of theft was proven in court (collectively signalling a declaration that fraud is no longer prosecutable) & his knee-jerk eff off stance re immigrants.

Trump says he’ll pardon a former Honduras leader convicted of taking millions of dollars in bribes from drug traffickers. A U.S. prosecutor said Juan Orlando Hernández “paved a cocaine superhighway to the U.S.”
More evidence that Trump’s threats against Venezuela have nothing to do with drugs.

it's time for journos to start asking Johnson meta questions

"Speaker, on 5 occasions last week you said 'I haven't seen it' when asked about news events w/big implications for public policy. Do you ever read the news, and do you agree it's problematic for the Speaker to be so woefully uninformed?"

Excessive force. PERIOD!

They called them “violent mobs,” but the violence came from the guys with badges and body armor.

📌 Keep sharing videos, everyone, because they’re evidence.

The style mavens at YSL seem to have picked their winners in the autocracy v democracy fight. Judging by this YSL ad in today's WaPo, the fascist brutality of Darth Vader's black leather wardrobe is the new "be yourself" individuality.

Someone should read this document you speak of.
I'm not a political genius, but I'm pretty sure the party that published a 600-page manifesto on how they want to shut down the federal government are the ones who shut down the federal government.

He should be subpoenaed by the house for hearing about Epstein‘s blackmailing
Trump Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick called Jeffrey Epstein, his former neighbor, the "greatest blackmailer ever."

Those comments are in direct contrast to the DOJ's findings this summer that there's 'no credible evidence' that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals.
