Yup and people were NOT happy about it, this is a huge drop, I've only seen about 2-3 similar ones in the past few months

A weekend Swift Server toy project, processes the entire Bluesky firehose and emits various interesting metrics.
I also do sentiment analysis of English posts, but that's very consistent, so not much signal there yet, maybe over longer periods of time, like weeks/months

Ok, any theories on why the rate of likes (top line) would suddenly spike at exactly the same time as follows (second line) drop? Only to reverse a few mins later, and repeat again shortly?
This really looks like someone's troll farm follow/like spamming in alternating bursts.

At 5pm my time, some totally real humans clearly felt like they wanted to follow more people on Bluesky 👀
