I started “Hell Is Us” this weekend and damn is it good. I really thought the lack of waypoints, quest logs, and map markers was going to annoy tf outta me, but it hasn’t.

OK, minor setback with the painting of the guitar pedal enclosure. It started to buckle as I didn’t bring it in to a warmer temperature sooner. I had to strip it and will have to redo the primer and base coat.
But O. MG. The sticker I wanted to work is totally going to work with minor trim work!

I ordered this Black Flag x Black Phillip sticker for the top of the pedal. Realizing that the build is going to take more time than I originally anticipated, but I’ve got a vision for the look and sound of this pedal I want to carry through to every aspect.

I’ve started the build of my “Black Phillip” fuzz face guitar pedal. I’ll just add to this post as the build proceeds. First up is a few coats of self etching primer.

We got some new fancy ass flavors of La Croix at the studio: Blackberry Cucumber and Guava São Paulo.
The guava is *chefs kiss*. Haven’t had the blackberry cucumber yet. Their strawberry peach flavor remains a 🐐.

I’ve been working through the Slipknot catalog. I do like to learn what parts are played live vs. the album version. Just a little practice on “Duality” to try and get at what Jim Root plays live in the chorus.
Also need to remember that I now own an amp that can output directly to the computer.

Took some after photos this afternoon of the cemetery headstone restoration we did as part of the company Impact Day about a month ago. This is one of the most striking before/after photos. D2 product is just incredible and will continue to work over the next year.

Doing up some pork chops in the sous vide for dinner. Sides will be blistered green beans, sautéed mushrooms, and rosemary garlic potatoes. Raspberry peach pie for dessert.
