I think OG trilogy has cemented itself as a near-perfect masterpiece (in my head and others) that any subsequent installment will unfortunately be heavily compared to it but I don't think they've given Andromeda a truly fair shake in retrospect! It has flaws but it's not a travesty of a game!

I actually talked about this! When walking through the Tempest, it's so clear how much it's NOT a military vessel because imagine having THAT MUCH glass fixture on the SR1/SR2🤣 Shepard's skylight alone got me questioning WHY anyone would put a target like that on the ship's captain, but it's pretty!

Yeah! I also feel that to me it felt like an apology for how ME3's final mission turned out so lackluster despite all your effort for filling the war assets to the fullest... like wow this is legit what I wanted for that final push in London 😭

Could it have been much better? Yes! BUT knowing the messy development it had, you have to applaud that the core parts of the game that MATTER delivered when it needed to and without fail! Also the homage to the Mako drop-off alone for the final mission (and how gorgeous Meridian is) got me CHEERING

I also think people aren't giving grace to the fact that the Tempest crew (outside of Lexi and Drack) are composed of people in a younger age bracket than the Normandy's, and are faced with an entirely new frontier they have to navigate so, of course, they're going to act and react differently!

[I need to play Dragon Age] With how abysmal the perpetuated reputation of Andromeda is, I genuinely was expecting a terrible game that went against the OG trilogy... but that's not what I found at all?!! The only criticism I have is they could've gone a lot darker in tone but it's fine as is too!

I finished ME: Andromeda!! 🚀💫
I believe that had they cut 60% of unnecessary fluff in the form of semi-open world design and convoluted but forgettable side quests, it would've been a great game. The main story and loyalty missions are AMAZING and it’s sad most people won’t see that. Solid 3/5 🌟

I finished ME: Andromeda!! 🚀💫

AIN'T THAT A MOOD LMFAO 😭 I'm actually trying to keep my excitement for ME5 in check by looking forward to Exodus and Expanse: Osiris Reborn instead so I don't get disappointed in case it's bad or gets cancelled. But then again Liara seems heavily involved so how disappointed can I be really... 😌
