I have thoughts about this and I ended up writing too much, so I'm gonna screenshot it. You can skip this if it's too much to read! Also disclaimer that I'm not Korean or asian, so I'm looking at this from an outside perspective, these are just my observations as a long-time fan of BTS and k-pop.

Not to make it deep but I think this is one of the most foundational tenets of Jin's philosophy... the power of embracing your own nervousness, recognising that others feel the same way, joining hands saying "let's do it anyway, life doesn't have to be so serious," and facing the challenge together.

Also I was suddenly reminded of the Singles photoshoot (the gift which keeps on giving), which has a somewhat similar vibe... I'll forever curse that Taejin were busy this day. We *need* an updated OT7 version of this now they're back, but like, even gayer and hornier somehow.
BTS in Singles Mag 2017 (except Taejin who were busy). They're all fully dressed, but sprawled out on an old mattress, limbs overlapping, looking at the camera with very sultry expressions. If you want full outfit descriptions let me know, but there's a lot of tight black leather, hats, and bdsm-inspired accessories. Jimin in particular is wearing a studded black leather biker vest with a black biker cap straight out of 70s gay leather culture 😌 Same photoshoot as the previous image. Namjoon and Jungkook are standing against a wall, Yoongi is sitting on a chair in front of them with his legs spread and his hand resting on his crotch, Jimin is crouching on the floor in his gay biker fit (you can now see a thick studded leather wrist band to make it even more obvious). Namjoon is inexplicably wearing a cape and brimmed hat this time but everyone else is dressed the same. You can see Yoongi's outfit more clearly here, he's wearing tall lace-up leather boots, skin-tight patent leather trousers, white t-shirt, black leather jacket, black beret and a black o-ring choker. He's leaning his face right next to Jungkook's crotch, which is also clad in black leather, with a large o-ring dangling suggestively... @ bangtan stylists PLEASE bring back these looks in the future but even more deranged thank you 🙏🙏🙏

This sent me searching in my archives... Tae was always passionate about style, inspired by his dad who was stylish on a low budget. In BTS' early days when they really had no money, he would customize cheap plain shirts to look like the 'high fashion' he admired, sometimes with varying results 😉

Yoongi's coming home!!!

I had to look through my entire 'cute yoongi' folder (500+ photos) for this and I am *devastated*. He is the cutest person alive. Anyway, for some reason these 240p photos just captured the vibe I'm feeling right now. Low quality images of a high quality man!

There was in fact... a moment in the video of them unboxing the Butter CD when Hobi said "you can just open the wrapper with your teeth" and Jimin said "don't do that, I wouldn't want ARMYs to be at risk" and then they made the expressions depicted below, and then they couldn't stop laughing...

Hey #BTShelp can anyone tell me where this minimoni conversation comes from? Pretty sure they're on the way to a red carpet event. They were being semi-serious, kind of critiquing the idea of celebrity and saying how they don't fit with that.

I want to add that this (somewhat popular) ARMY channel 'Today's News' posted the video, and has been constantly removing any comment which asks them to delete, or explains why it's a bad idea to share videos like this. I would encourage everyone to avoid this channel and spread the word!

I was randomly watching footage of old rockstars the other day, the kind of musicians who get taken 'seriously' as having 'real impact', and seeing how their fans just hysterically try to grab them, screaming and desperate. And now seeing this, two people coming together to make a sign of love...

If you haven't seen the full Singles photoshoot you need to! Quite possibly their most iconic photoshoot to date, except that Tae and Jin were busy with other schedules at the time. If they did something with OT7 in this style in the future... I live in hope!

Great point! They've said their favourite thing when performing is to see ARMY's faces, just living in the moment, dancing and having fun.

Filming a little for memories is fine, but if everyone has their phone up for the whole show, I think it would feel like this scene from Shadow:

These were mostly-teenage boys, leaving home for the first time, thrown into a completely foreign culture, a language they didn't speak, faced with constant challenges. After filming all day, they were recording an album (Dark & Wild) in a makeshift garage studio and practicing choreo until dawn.
