I'm convinced they're waiting for Trump to die before releasing the Files. We all know he's not well, he's clearly trying to collect accolades so he can bargain his way into heaven, and once he's gone his cronies can throw him under the bus and try to make themselves look good by comparison.

2 nd race of the year done. The 3 mile snowflake shuffle. Made my goal pace of 7 min/mile, which last year would have been 2nd (age group). So did I get 2nd? Hell no! Came in 6th (age group), but a nice 42 nd overall. Best part: multiple ‘free’ beers afterwards while standing around chatting.

2.1 miles on slippery snow. Regretted forgetting my nano spikes. This completes about 125 race miles this year. We goal for 2026 - 150 race miles

Another successful 5k. The Fishercat Thanksgiving 5k. Placed in my division. The real kicker is that I was 0.1 sec slower than the 2nd place 20-25 doc AND 0.1 sec faster Than the third place 20-25. At least I was amused

Only 3 more races this year. I have already surpassed the goal of 100 racing miles with two successful 1/2 marathons. Already signing up for next years races, with a goal to run my first marathon (we will see) and increase racing mileage to 150. The insanity is real

Killed another 1/2 Marathon. 1:40:57, 2nd place in division. 760ft of ascent. Was allowed a picture with a retired Navy Seal. He is the tall good looking one

Getting ready for the Manchester 1/2 Marathon. Cold and rainy out and looks like a tough course. A bit concerned this is going to suck

This was at the finish line at the NE Half Marathon. Last 3 miles my quads were in pain. 3 days later I can almost walk normally.
Surprisingly I came in first in my age group.

48hrs after the half marathon and my quads are still very sore. Getting better veeeeeeery slowly.

Last Long Run before 1/2 marathon. 12 miles, 700ft ascent, 8:45 pace. Should be in good shape for the race in 2 weeks.

Had a nice 6 mile tempo run, added a few easy miles on the end for 10 total. I might actually be getting this distance running thing.

Pretty amused. For the first time I did not get old man running photo from the 5k. I was tucked in behind someone in the video, such that there was no still photo taken. I had no idea since I was pushing really hard that race and not paying any attention to others.

Fantastic 5k today. Ran very hard. Time 20:35, 11 seconds over PR. Garmin time for 5k was 20:15 (a wannabe PR). Delta due to course being 3.17k per Garmin. Still was 1st in age group. Looking forward to NE Half in a few weeks!!!
