Left-Liberal, interested in political ideas.

Chances are, you have debated someone like me before.
It's the main reason why Welsh devolution hasn't been great, from a strictly policy perspective.
It had no intrinsic need or interest in developing the economy to raise revenue.

Solidarity, and a long life.

Neither do I.
Neither does whoever wrote that post.
Neither did the eleven innocents who had their lives taken from them, whose bodies are still warm.

Just sod off.

This has fuck all to do with Israel.

This is not a story about Wales.
Also, there are campaigners on the other side who advocate allowing healthcare to be delivered if parents, medical experts, and the teenager all support it, rather than having a blanket ban.

Why then is Nation Cymru prioritising this story and angle?

Are these really your posts Mr Dun?

20mph minutes demonstrably save 'ordinary people's' lives though.
It also makes it safer and more appealing for cyclists.
You don't need to do 30mph in places where people live.

The trend isn't over yet either.
The pre-boomer generation were as pro-Remain as Millennials.
It was very much a boomer cohort thing.

Even strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is a better basis for a system of government...

These days, you can't even say 'Hitler was right' without people saying that's a bit nazi.

It's political correctness gone mad.

This is also my gripe about terms like 'fuel poverty', 'food poverty', etc...
The problem is one of general poverty.

I've a related gripe about those who simultaneously call for a "de-growth" strategy and an anti-poverty one.

Don't worry; you can just post more of them.

Closely followed by the speech bubbles on page 3?

If I'm supposed to know them well enough and it's not weird, I'll sometimes ask them for their full name, on the pretense that I can save their number, email them etc.

I'm pretty sure Corbyn won one though.

Virtually no-one in Britain has made the actual case for us being part of a USE, even - perhaps especially - those who call for us to rejoin.
Rejoining to leave later is idiotic; rejoining without support for a goal of USE is dishonest.

Another big reason is that it's reasonable to view 'the European Project' as a journey towards a type of US of Europe.
There is no evidence that the UK public are or ever were in favour of that, or have become more so.
December 3, 2025 at 3:24 PM
Mostly political.
Firstly, the amount of political effort involved would be immense and would suck up political energy for a decade.
Secondly, we would not be returning back to how things were. We'd have to join the Euro and the EU itself isn't v democratic, esp on economic affairs.

FFS.

I'm not really a fan of rejoining, now that we have left.
I would support an EFTA situation, though that might be trickier than I assumed.

Ok - thanks! I hadn't fully appreciated that
