It’s indicative of Hollywood Horror. It spends half its time trying to be “True To The Genre” by lacing in nods and winks to other films/franchises, just so you know that they know that they are just Horror fans too.

I don’t hate it like many do, but yeah, it’s no “classic”…

I really wish Sean Byrne made more movies. Between this, The Devil’s Candy (2016) and The Loved Ones (2009), he is yet to put a foot wrong.
