Well there are parking lots to turn right into but drivers don’t need to be in the bike lane for that long of a stretch to get into them.

Unfortunately it can be a contentious topic. On other platforms I've been asked why I still ride non e-bikes even though I've ridden e-bikes of many different variations. I am into cycling for both commuting AND sport.

They never will be. Both have their purposes and different people ride either for different reasons. A few people I know who ride both prefer non electric for non commuting.

So no interest in riding a regular bike at all? If I had the room, I’d have an ebike for commuting but still regular bikes for recreation and exercise. I guess for me I still get more enjoyment/satisfaction from analog.
