Would love to see a system that allows a narrow 22kg/49lb all-weather velomobile (pedal car) to travel from residence to intercity bus or train station on a protected cycle network. Then roll onboard an intercity bus like a land ferry for an extra fee.
What do you mean by that?

Scientists suggest that many religious visions were actually hallucinations caused by eating moldy food with similar effects to magic mushrooms. Sounds likely to me. What do you think?

On the other hand, the Bible quite often nails it with a lot of timeless wisdom such as envy being a deadly sin.

There are always trade-offs.

Building long transmission lines generally involves harvesting a lot of trees along the way and perpetual herbicide or trimming costs to keep vegetation away from lines

A mix of local vertical & rooftop solar plus local batteries (ideally sodium-ion) is more resilient.

Supermarket deli meals cost half as much as Meals-On-Wheels once government grants to Meals-On-Wheels are taken into consideration. Supermarket deli workers tend to be well paid.

Bottleneck is not enough delivery volunteers. All-weather 4WD version of these will help.

Autonomous delivery e-bikes:
> 25x cheaper than autonomous car
> 6x speed and throughput increase over sidewalk robots
> favorable vehicle classification for regulatory / insurance
> extremely low emissions

Some churches & other charity groups are buying healthy & delicious supermarket deli ready-to-eat meals in bulk, then delivering them to elderly & disabled shut-ins + homeless on cargo cycles carrying battery-powered microwaves year-round to get past obsolete SNAP rules that prohibit hot meals.

Contact sports that cause brain injuries & joint injuries should be cut first.

It's sad that taxpayers are forced to pay for contact sports that REDUCE ability to learn, thereby reducing employability.

Rugby causes the highest rate of brain injuries per hour.
Repetitive head impact in soccer players increases risk of brain damage, MRI shows
What's more, the damage observed on imaging could play a role in deteriorating cognitive performance.

Building autonomous deliver cycles requires very little upfront capital vs Waymo.

Cheap, flimsy autonomous delivery cycles can also transport blind, drunk/stoned, elderly or disabled people on cycling networks.

What's stopping co-ops from designing & building AI systems from autonomous vehicles to distributed AI-assist medical research.

Distributed AI-assisted medical research has been going on for years. Has already produced spectacular results.

Research & Development + tooling + regulatory costs require upfront investment. Benefits follow investment.

Similar for solar panel installation, oil exploration, oil wells, pipelines, refineries, etc. Even hospitals require upfront capital investment in image scanners, lithotripters, etc,. etc.

Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme + a massive waste of energy.

Distributed AI medical research helps speed-up development of more effective medications with fewer side-effects.

Hyperbole, division & gaslighting isn't the answer to anything. Thatcher's phase-out of coal was opposed by trade unions.
