I dunno, I havent played a game since UNSIGHTED where the narrative and design confronts the player so intently with the threat that everything the player sees and interacts with is deeply, imperfectly temporal and will be destroyed

Yeah! After writing about a game called Jenny of the Prairie, it really motivated me to find other obscure games that are actually pivotal as software made by women, or for girls, during a time where there were not really that many options

Yeah. This stuff is nice, but it is in most cases transient. Social media is my bedrock, and I've made a lot of actual friends, but, like - you're right, a lot of people that exist in that pleasant parasocial space, lovely as it is, just disappear, and you can't hold onto that I guess

Parasociality on social media is really hard to let go. When you have more online connections than interpersonal or local social connections, it feels like a lot. Maybe sometimes bigger than it actually is. But you gotta do what you gotta do

See if that were a shirt I would absolutely go for it. It seems like following the midcentury "disco shirt" and Hawaiian, and the 80s-90s abstract festive "party shirt", the idea of a pleasing floral business shirt is only a relatively new idea from the 2000s.
