Sometimes I feel I'm bad at interacting even with people within the groups I'm part of. It could also be the other's fault (it's only an interaction when both sides are putting effort, of course), but imposter syndrome usually tells that I'm to blame, so that's checks out!! 🤸‍♀️

I really wish Cranky would at least react to Pauline in DK's shoulder; Like.. a single line of dialogue of him saying she resembles someone he knows. Or at least acknowledge she is a human and that's weird in the closed context of the series.

I'm not going through my usual rant against Pauline, because at the end of the day, they purposely left it vague to encourage speculation, so I don't care. I think that's a terrible copout, but that's how it is. Then I really hope there's nothing in the future reinforcing any of the theories further

I'm not of being selective of what "counts", but at some point, for franchises as big a Mario and Donkey Kong, there's need to be draw some line of separation.. like, Mario Tennis on N64, where we get both modern DK and DK Jr. in the same game (I'm used to shrug off as time travel shenanigans).

Prior to Bananza, my main argument about Baby DK, is that was just Cranky as a baby; MvDK2 is pretty clear to me tho, that was the first time Modern DK and Pauline met. And for G&W Gallery, that had DK Sr. in-game (except the title screen), so DK Jr. with adult Mario makes sense.

Ooh! They even have a chomp chomp sound effect! 😭 , I swear I either never seen that triggered before, of if I saw it, it was just before I defeated them so they never had chance to do the whole animation!
