Essential reading. Tells the story of the US sponsored massacre of leftists and regime change in Indonesia in 1965 of anywhere from 500,000~1 million people. It is a story about how the event shaped the cold war strategy of the US and how it was applied to places such as Latin America.

Found an old picture of my boy Sugar. He loved sleeping in this little cozy cove pillow we got for him. He really was the sweetest rat I've ever had. I miss this little fella.

One of the best films to ever show a truly modern fascist dystopia is Children of Men (2006).
It's one of the most moving films I've ever seen. It is equal parts shocking, funny, heartbreaking, wrapped around this theme of humanity slowly going out like a dim light with the slimmest of hopes.

Sorcerer (1977) did not deserve to bomb the way it did. Best movie of that year. One of those movies that make you hold your breath because of the suspense and tension.

My boy Sugar aka Sugar Bear aka Sugar Bean passed away suddenly this past Sunday. He was such a sweetheart. Loved cuddles, head scratches, and yogi treats. I'll miss my little rat friend.
