He arrived in 2021 with all the other Afghanis who worked with US Forces during the war. But his asylum was granted in April. And suddenly all 120,000 of them had their asylums revoked and are facing the prospects of being beheaded by the Taliban. Yeah, I'd be pissed as well.

This is the most likely explanation. He worked HARD to get that asylum approval only to have it suddenly revoked for NO FUCKING REASON other than pure racism and animus. I'm sure the rage in the Afghani community is real.
