Should N. America therefore be returned to those of indigenous descent? It's all nonsense of course because, as any student of ancient history knows, "Palestine" changed hands scores of times before the modern era.

You don't understand. Tesla is not a mere car company. It's now all about Optimus robot. And when that fails it will be about something else. Great buying opportunity at $426. You'd be crazy not to put your life savings into it.

Trump has a fundamental insecurity. He knows he is not a 'proper' president and that history will never see him as such. Therefore he is especially sensitive about what he sees as affronts to his presidential authority. Kelly and the others have struck nerve. Keep it up!

That's excellently written and very funny. I just can't quite summon enough interest in that dreadful man (RFK junior) to finish it.

We have lost the plot in the West. Way too excited about Space X reusing boosters, as if it is the greatest achievement ever. The acclaim is an insult to those that put men on the moon in the 60s and developed an entire reusable spacecraft in the 80s. We have lost our ability to evaluate progress.

I don't think he cares. He won't be around to suffer the consequences.

When he is gone we will be left to ponder our favorite Kash Patel moments. For me it will always be the time he eulogized Charlie Kirk with "see you in Valhalla!" A Hindu promising to see a Christian in the Viking heaven. I found it moving.

You're probably right. But don't spoil our fun fantasizing about it!

It's funny that I, as an atheist, have to fight the urge to explain the Bible to supposed Christians.

I don't think they do see it. Fox News isn't showing them this stuff.

Tim Apple and the Swiss billionaires are watching this and thinking 'Damn! We didn't need to give him gold bars after all. You can get a result just by massaging his ego!'.

I hope he comes back out! MBS might have lent Trump his bone saw! (Sick joke but it had to be done)

OK, here is my nightmare scenario (but all too possible):
1) AI bubble crashes economy
2) Trump bails out the 'tech' industry (after all, they came to his inauguration, contribute to his ballroom and can influence public opinion to win him a third term)
3) Worldwide economic depression results

I'm guessing they didn't wheel in Marjorie Taylor Green's boyfriend to insult this particular visitor. He never got asked why he wasn't wearing a suit.

First you have to get past the Nazi salutes. Then you have to get past the dismantling of USAID resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of children. Only then do you have to worry about depreciation.

So company A buys a stake in company B, causing its value to rise. This benefits the balance sheet of company A. Meanwhile company B has a stake in company A and benefits from the rise in company A value which benefits company A because it has a stake in company B. And so on.

Its starting in the UK now as well. Predominantly white, right-of-center voters caused the Brexit fiasco. Now those same people are seeking a scapegoat for economic decline. In each case immigrants get the blame and their persecution just makes things worse.

There is evidence to suggest that if he'd promised to be a good boy, never mention Trump and wait for 2025, he would have got himself a cushy jail and maybe even a puppy. But he supposedly chose death.

This is probably much worse than it seems. If I put, say, $1B into purchasing stock and it rises 10% as a result, did I really make $100M? Selling it would create downward pressure. You never really know where you are until it's all sold (or Schrodinger's box is finally opened).
