A CPD officer shot and killed a driver who dragged him with a stolen vehicle on the North Side overnight, police said. Investigators said they found two firearms at the scene along with a device commonly used by car thieves to clone key fobs.

Another murder victim was found lying alone on the West Side overnight.

Exactly how long he lay there before being discovered is unclear because nobody called 911 to report the gunfire that killed him.

The area used to be monitored by ShotSpotter.

William Livingston, one of the “Loop Puncher” suspects, is now charged with attacking yet another woman, this time in Wicker Park.

It’s the 4th victim he’s accused of attacking his year, but his history of committing similar crimes stretches back to at least 2017.
