If and when; it seems like Nicole Kidman announced it before anyone else was made aware.

I can admit that maybe I was too fond of the closing moments of S1 to give S2 more of a chance, and yeah bits of it were great (mainly with Meryl Streep and the instant anti-chemistry she had with the rest of the cast), but it felt pretty rushed and misshapen to me.

The biggest, glossiest soap opera of the past decade; S1 is pretty terrific with an immensely satisfying finale. S2 though… 😕
