Celebrating 50 years of poetry in 2025 ✨

https://linktr.ee/cv2magazine
Check out this cover - it couldn't have been created without you, our readers! We included blank postcards in our subscription issues for this, our 50th year, and you responded with your congratulations, your words of love, and, of course, your wonderful poetry! Thank you! It means so much to us 🥰
November 24, 2025 at 7:03 PM
This is the last issue celebrating our 50th year, and we’ve shared a mix of poems appearing publicly for the first time and poems we ourselves have published before, going all the way back to the year 2000. (If you'd like to read the poems we shared from 1975–1999, check out our summer issue!)

I'm looking for poetry as the political, as mighty as the silver tongued sword aflame. Blatant and ferocious, unforgiving and ungovernable. Like the many women and queers around us: alive and aching!”💫

Daphne Marlatt's enigmatic "in passing" first appeared in a beautiful issue from 1982 entitled A Sacred Mosaic: Spiritual Poetry in Canada, and the haunting "Mother and I Walking" by Lorna Crozier comes from the Saskatchewan entry in a series from the 80s that each feature a different province.
