He/him. Husband, father, citizen. Mostly messing around here. Not loving the Era of Artificial Reality despite enjoying escapist activities. There’s a difference.
As far as I can tell, Alex Jones is in Texas where it’s definitely not snowing….

I have to throw in a note that Crossed comes very close to edgelord status for a lot of readers and may not be everyone’s taste. Lots of “what if the worst thing possible”. And lots of rape.

House of Penance is a fun horror tpb set in the Winchester Mystery house while being built.

What’s that smell?

Oh, it’s the stink of desperation.

They’re going to lose a billion dollars soon.

Well this vid certainly got more notice than if he’d wanted to go to New York or DC or Japan or basically a million other places.

There is little question that in our current age the thing that drives voters is problems that exist not solutions that were implemented. Unless it’s super dramatic and fast (overpass and Shapiro) no one will remember.

As a fan I have to say it’s extraordinary hard to find things in stock even at a decent shop. Like I get the Image email, I go look for them and nothing is there because they basically only stock sure sellers or orders.

So your key is connecting with fans first. Previews ending makes it harder

Similar idea would be if your work is similar to another popular creator’s ask them if they would mind promoting it to their fans.

Random ideas:
1. Make sure your publisher has some kind of weekly email to customers who can see what is released
2. Try to get posts onto the appropriate subreddits about tpbs esp. include 4-8 pg preview. Poss offer one dig copy in exchange for a review via comment based drawing to build presence

This works somewhat but also you as a consumer don’t pay for Facebook or politicians to spew nonsense at you. You might pay for a newspaper but obviously thats a small minority of folks; most engagement comes from someone else talking about it.

Ai needs people to pay for it at some point.

Occasionally I think about the fact that not just Trump, but a large % of the Senators who voted to confirm the Justices who are younger than them will die of old age while these Justices will continue to be on the Court for decades.

So much for electoral accountability.

He’s got a good tv presence but that’s about it. He’s way better than the Republican was but Gov Wolf was better in retrospect.

Ok. Props on the overpass thing and just doing something. Lesson learned, now let someone else apply it.

I mean if he’s the governor for another term I can deal.

This is one of those guys who should just not say anything in public anymore.

They were worried that some young female voters might consider voting Republican in the near future.

Trolls like trolling.

The really sad part is that’s one of our current administration’s top priorities. The Troll Agenda.

99% Invisible had a recent podcast about this topic with another author.

It also looks at some other ways infrastructure design impacts the mortality rate in the region.

Murderland - 99% Invisible
Caroline Fraser grew up on the beautiful Mercer Island in Washington State. But despite the seemingly peaceful landscape, her memories of the area were long haunted by an inexplicable amount of death....

See now you’re just making me sad again that we got Bush who pretended to care about climate change, until taking action got a little real, and he tossed aside Christine Todd Whitman’s plans after she’d believed him.

I am surprised he didn’t just go for Trumpublican but he’s working from T being his identifying logo for years.

Anyway I’m also imagining a fairy tale years from now with a conman imp named Trumplestiltskin.
