Why on earth should the UK contribute to our defence for free ? To use your own logic?
As to skills the UK defence sector is one of the largest in the world they have the skills already and due to the fact that many European systems have UK input .. good luck untangling that one.

I support a united Ireland but it really has to come with a laying to rest of the historical baggage .. after all Ireland wasn’t always the nice guy at one point Dublin was the largest slave market in Europe (Norse) I mean where does it end should we hate on Italy for the Roman conquest ?

Only wee brexit benefit was ridding our local roads of Irish trucks racing through tearing up the tarmac causing jams and pollution .. spending no money and contributing nothing locally it’s been a lot cleaner and quieter since … all other aspects of Brexit 💩
