If you want great podcasts though check out "The Worst of All Possible Worlds" their coverage of media is so thoughtful and full of heart. I also am loving "Stores" which is just really solid comedy, thoughtfully constructed jokes/ bits and just some really great absurdist things, great stuff!

Idk if it's just that I've grown up but so many of the stories seems super shallow and/or mean-spirited, sure there's some good, thoughtful stuff in there still but god damn the hit rate is so bad.
So many stories are of the most out of touch or douchy people propping up the status quo ugh

The first episode I came back to was of the stupidest guy on earth, one of their journalist pals, trying to trick hundreds of telemarketers and everyone in his life that an ao he set up was him. The conclusion was basically just "damn that was weird and fucked up, who could have expected thissss???"

God yeah I always move at least a couple when I go for walks, its insane how bad its gotten. I use the justification that it blocks the path for people with disabilities but mainly the whole thing just annoys me to no end.

I do think I should allow myself to be animated by fury more often, its a good motivator and there's so much in this beautiful world to be furious at. The injustice, bigotry, the disregard for humanity + nature its enough to make one's blood boil I swear.

Hopefully tomarrow I'll watch some of it/ them, something close worked last time. This is just a time thats bad, I believe in myself to get to a healthier place.
