It’s totally different culturally. Over here, motorists are often outright hostile to cyclists. We have many deaths every year from motorist-cyclist accidents and “road rage” incidents.

Unpopular opinion, but: if we had proper bike infrastructure in the US, then cyclists wouldn’t need to choose multi-use paths for their rides. There are no safe places for faster riding.

if you buy chocolate, gum, or candy from concessions instead of having them in your purse, it’s not good sense 🤷♀️ but just don’t leave any mess/wrappers for the sweepers.
