Saw some players run down the tunnel while the teams were still wandering on the pitch post match, but didn’t realise Contepomi was involved.
Curry did appear to realise he was late to the tackle, but far too late to do anything about it.

He’s Ulster bound? That’s a decent signing… but that’s what I thought about Kitshoff.
Bell did manage to find a lot of space there.

Hoping there’s a photo of Prendergast & Crowley sat in bin together. There’s a moment I never contemplated.

Irish scrum just didn’t turn up and conceded penalty after penalty, but despite 4 yellows, a 20 minute red and being down to 12 men twice, they put up a surprisingly effective defence.
Still in it with 10 to go.
Rassie was just being Rassie, some sarcastic thumbs up to the crowd at the end.

Paid for a months TNT subscription for the Autumn Rugby internationals, Ashes was very much a bonus, added 5 days cricket of rather than just 2 days of rugby.
Can't quite believe a first ashes test could be done in just 2 days (at least some of those 2 rugby days and 2 cricket days don't overlap)

I'm only a cricket casual. I subscribe to Premiersports for Leinster and whatever we supposed to call the Heineken Cup now, but based on this morning I'll be tuning into TNT for Ashes while I have it (which at this rate won't be even 5 days).
Hope nobody is traveling too far for the 4th or 5th day!

Paid for TNT for a month for the Autumn Rugby internationals. Noticed they have the Ashes, figured I'd dip into it over the weekend.
Wish, wish, WISH I'd got up early! 19 wickets on the first day of an Ashes test!

Potentially (and even quite likely), but if a VW Golf (as an example) has 'EU type approval' and 'GB type approval' why can't the EU version be sold in NI, and the GB version in GB. Why does NI being in the UK mean they can only have GB approved cars?
November 20, 2025 at 7:29 PM
I don’t understand why this is an issue. “Big manufacturers“ will have EU type for cars sold in the EU, which includes Ireland. Why can’t right drive EU approved cars be sold in Northern Ireland just as they are in Ireland?
What am I missing?

Interesting at these moments to see what breaks, and how badly. This wasn’t the worst.

Would separate devices work? A £55 Canon flatbed scanner, and a £90 Brother mono laser printer connect via USB, and use native OS support to work. Works with Windows, no Wi-Fi, and no proprietary apps required to make them work. Multifunction devices are where things get complicate, and frustrating

Vote Lib Dem in elections, not just because my constituency has only ever been CON/LD. Disappointed I couldn’t vote red in the last election (not that it mattered in the end), but so disappointed with how they’ve turned out, maybe 14 years in the wilderness weakened them, but couldn’t vote red now

EXACTLY!
I know Dublin doesn’t have the largest range of destinations, but Paris is absolutely one of them!
He chose a 1hr 25min flight, 1hr 30min connection, and a 1hr 20min flight rather than a 1hr 45min direct flight.
He needs to explain his logic not the UK’s infrastructure failures.

I have a coffee machine that makes the coffee straight into a thermal jug. I use to put it on, get ready for work, put the jug into the car, and have fresh coffee once I got to my desk at work.

Forgot to put the coffee in one morning, drove 30 miles down the M3 with a pot of hot filtered water.

Think he’s been saved by the lack of angles for the TMO, but no evidence so yellow it is.

There'll be a Rassie video!

Was that the aircraft that overflew Murrayfield for the Scotland vs NZ match about 10 minutes ago?

Free access appears to have expired (it has for me, and logging in doesn't help).
The increasing lock down of management systems in cars (frequently in the pursuit of security) is making cars harder to maintain. Disposing of useful cars because simple fixes are too difficult is becoming an issue.

True... but take a long term view and that plan worked out pretty well for Ireland.
(well, after Saturday maybe don't take too long term a view).

I'm rather partial to a 'throat growl' in a menacing name, but she's not wrong about the "smooth internal rhyme" of Helvellyn.
What an enjoyable list.

I recall a US university experiment where they gave a student a fake gun, told him at some point there would be a mock attack in a class. Even forewarned the student in question didn't manage to 'successfully fire' the fake gun before the attacker was on him.

If any needs that elusive FireWire 400 to FireWire 800 cable please let me know.
Seriously, please let me know, I need closure on 15 years of storage.

"high-end marques like BMW and Audi" have become some of the biggest sellers in the UK as leasing has become more popular.
Lease deals can make them cheaper on a monthly basis than 'low-end marques' due to resale value. Especially if you don't do many miles.
Following, not leading.
