Viva la QueerBar has so much of my own life in it - translated into a queer game, a queer archive, and a queer space that exists wherever you make room for it. I used flyers from my personal archive to create the layout artwork.

(Which, incidentally, were a decade that saw a lot of equal rights activism that gained much more traction later - such as the Black Civil Rights Movement and the Homosexual Liberation Movement - despite many efforts to silence them.)

I'll admit it's a bit dated and has some 1990s implied gender essentialism, anti-femininity and biphobia in some of the issues. But I still love the art and how it develops, the raw power-fantasy anger, the depiction of depression as its flipside, the love for queers, and of course the cat Chicken!

Hey #TTRPG creators on @itch.io - does anyone else currently have weirdly low download numbers with normal view numbers? My downloads have dropped to almost zero since November 11, but the view numbers are in my normal range. Does anyone have an explanation for this? 🤔
Screenshot of my Itch analytics showing data from October 1st to November 14th. Views per day vary within a normal-for-me range. Downloads suddenly drop to almost zero after November 14th, with only four individual days of similarly low numbers in the whole time period before that.

I'm super biased about the first 2 because they're for games I've (co-)written (topics: 1950s finishing school drama / queer bar vignettes in flexible setting) - the other 2 I just love (topics: retelling of Passover story / ghosts recovering memories and making found family in shared house).
