It's difficult to engage with people that get angry against a monolith like "linux bros". I've met a lot of people in open source communities and they're all in it for different reasons.

The one fact remains that every single piece of functional open source software is a gift to the world.

I didn't know this game was still in development! I always looked up to this game as a 'wc3like' when I was working on my RTS games. Has a great style.

I think under normal circumstances I would 100% agree, when I was “full time” I could make a decent attempt in six months. Now that I work two jobs alongside my game dev it’s just not the same

I’m also from Halifax. As of this event I now know zero people employed in the gaming industry. In 2019 I knew at least 20.
