It annoys me so much because the festival and bookshop scenes were quite beautiful and pleasant to watch, so we know they can do better. Just do this the entire episode and the anime will be improved 10x.

Looking back more seriously on this anime I find it incredible that animes are still doing the high pitched "EEEEEE???" screams and cuts to cartoon expressions eve seconds. It's not funny or cute or likable, it's just grating and off putting. Completely breaks emotional investment in the characters.

They make this the literal last scene of the season? Huh?

Ah yes, the trope of waking up next to your canonical love interest, accidentally saying your real love's name.

Disturbing lack of Nero, the real main character, in the last few episodes. When drunk, Monica misses him too. Or perhaps she's just too much of a pawslut.
